Hi i'm Cerian (pronounced Kerryun) but most people call me Carrie or CeeCee. I'm a fully qualified personal trainer and gym instructor who has had the pleasure of helping people both online and in person achieve overall health and happiness through fitness and nutrition for almost 5 years now.
I'm extremely passionate about body positivity, ditching 'diet culture' and helping people to understand that life doesn't need to be defined by the scales, restrictive eating or hours of gruelling exercise
I know all too well that adapting to new, healthier habits can be daunting and at times we all fail. I might be a personal trainer but I'm also human. I've got cellulite, I love pizza, pasta and cheese. I rarely turn down an alcoholic beverage if offered one and there are definitely days when the last thing I want to do is exercise. Which is totally fine because I've got the knowledge and experience to get right back at it. Despite always being fairly active and slim, it wasn't until I quit smoking and gained a lot of weight that I realised I'd given up one thing that could potentially kill me and replaced it with bad food choices, less exercise and I was more out of breath as a non smoker than I had been as a smoker! I hired a personal trainer to help me improve my overall health and never looked back.
Healthy eating and exercise is a part of who I am and I want that for you too.
Each one of my clients has their own circumstances and they almost always have barriers initially. Perhaps you have a busy work week, young children at home, a health issue or you're lacking the belief in yourself. Maybe it’s all of these. Together we can overcome these barriers and soon you will see that you can do anything when you put your mind to it! Providing you're willing to put in the effort, I will always give you 200% and more!
My role in as your trainer is not just to give you a program but to support you, motivate you, lift you up when the self-doubt kicks in (because it will) and give you all the tools to help you live a life without diets, food anxiety or body negativity.
